Day in the Life: A typical day in the life of an Acupuncturist consists of maintaining and satisfying general health through analyzing muscle pain and applying needles to release tension. An Acupuncturist will assess the pain and precisely place the needles at pressure points. Acupuncture is an ancient practice done with the theory that energy pathways throughout the body is out of rhythm.

To Become an Acupuncturist: An Acupuncturist must go complete their masters or doctorate degree. A bachelors is not required, however, a minimum of 2 years in undergraduate is required. There are specialized schools that are Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). Completion of the doctorate comes with the license exam, the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
