Asthma
Asthma is a very common disease cildren are born with and can eeither grow out of or have for the rest of their life. To this day, scientists are still unsure of the possible causes of asthma but we can connect them to various things. Asthma can be triggered by airbore allergens, respiratory infections, and even cold air. An individual with asthma might show signs of coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest pain.
To treat an individual with asthma, they have anti-inflammatory drugs that are inhaled into the bronchids. Inhaled drugs reduce the swelling which blocks the airway and causes these asthma attacks. Brochodilators is a common treatment used since it relaxes the muscles that tighten the airway.
People who suffer from asthma can have it for the rest of their life. Luckily, death from asthma is very uncommon and if it were to happen, it is preventable.
