Cal Tech Robot Presentation Extra Credit

What I Learned:

At the robotics presentation, I learned that creating a robot consist of countless mathematic equations put together precisely in order to augment a robot itself.  Many labs struggle to have robots learn from artificial intelligence; In fact, most starter-up lab projects build their works off of human controlled robots. The beginning is finding out what works best to keep the robot standing straight up and walking in a straight line, then comes a gyroscope-like contraption that ensures that the robot will not tilt over. The tremendous effort by a team is required to put together a robot that works. Like any lab working with new material and experiments, the lab group has to craft their own safety mechanism to ensure that their $500,000 machine does not break.
